Welcome to the Graduate Program in Dance information section. We offer a 60-credit, three-year, fulltime MFA degree in Performance and Choreography for the Teaching Artist. The program is small (four students are accepted each year), and individualized. Auditions are required and admission is for Fall semester acceptance only.
The degree process culminates in an original choreographed and performed thesis project and includes an off-campus internship with an arts organization, dance company, or research venue. Opportunities are being developed for K-12 teaching certification, and Certification in Laban Movement Studies (the CMA), is available, along with professional performance work in dance.
